WooHoo!! AngelWaves Cattery (the cattery where Sammy, our stud cat is from) is very proud to announce their latest GRAND CHAMPION, Furrydance Newquay of AngelWaves!

Newquay (pronounced New-Key) is fondly called QTee by Mike and Trish. She is a lovely calico out of Kiki and Sammy and we all hope she is as good a momcat in the future, as her mother is.

QTee granded in CFA’s President Pam DelaBar’s ring on February 26th, 2010 in New Jersey.She was given a BEST ALLBREED CHAMPION Final! She had to beat 200 other cats (of all breeds) to earn the title of Grand Champion and I am so proud of her, and want to thank Mike for being such a loving “Dad” to her and for Trish for believing in her and keeping her out there in front of the judges.

Mike kept her in excellent show shape and she loves him and her other boyfriend kitty, Luc (the best kind of BFF, he’s neutered!). She now gets to retire from the show ring, have her heart scanned before breeding her, and we look forward to seeing her babies sometime in 2010!

Of course, none of us think we fall into that cat-a-gory, but a friend just sent me this video interview from that New York Cat Show I was at, and I thought you might enjoy a giggle or two…I’m not embarrassed, because I’m one of the normal ones, right? I did have to giggle myself when most said they had “7″ cats, like that’s the number that is well, more than non-cat crazy people have, but not out-of-control…and how most everyone said their cats are “dog-like”, like that is something a cat-lover would want! I think I will find another by-line now, when asked about my cats personality!
